Art Therapy is a unique and effective form of counselling. Anything you have thought to address with talk therapy can be addressed with art therapy.

Using simple art materials, I can support you to:

  • Process your experiences

  • Activate your imagination & explore new possibilities

  • Connect to your inner world

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Work through difficulties

  • Experience healing—along the grief journey, or from trauma

  • Develop new tools and skills for your ongoing mental and emotional health

No "artistic ability" required. Choose the format that best fits your needs.

Online and In-person sessions available.

Different ways you can experience the benefits of Art Therapy with me:

Individual Sessions

For adults, adolescents or children—These sessions are tailored to address your specific goals and needs. Helpful for dealing with a variety of issues such as: Burnout, Anger, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Life transitions, Stress management, Relationship issues, Emotional Regulation, or Grief and loss (someone’s death or other losses—relationship, marriage, illness). Available on an ongoing basis. Sign up anytime.

Group Sessions

Altered Books for Self Care—an In-Person group where a previously published book becomes our ‘canvas’ and we process our lives as we re-author the book. Next group runs for 4 weeks, starting June 9, 2024. Send an email to be notified when the next virtual or in-person group opens for registration.

Hope Quest — For 6 weeks (2 hrs each time) we explore our need for hope, discover how we might find and nourish hope. Each week we create one (or two) pages in the book we are making—a record of our journey and discoveries. Send me an email to be notified when the next virtual or in-person group opens for registration.

Grief Support Workshops & Groups

Grief Support—Combine the power of art therapy with the support of a group. Collaborating with Suzanne Clease of Season’s Therapy, we offer workshops and groups in a variety of formats.

Interested in one of these sessions or a variation for your organization or group of friends? Contact me to ask about other possibilities.

Hi, I'm Suzanne! lt green-2.png

I’m an art therapist.

Using Art Therapy, I can support you to process your emotions, explore the experiences and feelings of your inner and outer world, work through difficulties to meet your goals and thrive.

If you would like to get help and support for something you’re struggling with, you’re in the right place.

Whatever your need in this present time, I would be honoured to accompany and support your journey of healing and growth. Perhaps it is a particular pain point, relational struggle, loss or trauma. Or maybe you want to further develop your skills to meet the challenges of stress or anxiety from work or relationships.

In our Art Therapy sessions I do all I can to facilitate the kind of space, experience and sharing (or silence!) you need. Over time we will work out how to best work together. I hope you’ll leave our sessions feeling lighter, hopeful and strengthened for the next part of your journey.

“I have recommended and will continue to recommend not just hope quest but all art therapy with Suzanne to others. I have tried, with varying degrees of success, other types of traditional therapy. This form I found to be especially grounding; I felt more at peace at the end of each session. It's also nice to be in a group with people searching for the same thing.”

—Hope Quest Group Participant

“You would be surprised how it (Art) promotes healing & how it is easier to express your inner feelings through art & how you can see things [you’ve] never seen before.”

— Grief support group participant.

“I would recommend it for anyone who would like a creative way to move through their grief. It’s very supportive and non-threatening.”

I’d love to show you how Art Therapy can bring the insight, clarity, and relief you seek.
